Implementation Workshops

Our implementation workshop is designed to assist communities of all sizes with a specific project, program or policy challenge. Implementation workshops are customized for the particular needs of the host community, and nationally renowned content experts are brought in for the workshop. For instance, in the past few months we helped Atlanta, Georgia with implementation of their City complete streets policy, reviewing plans, hosting a workshop for City staff and helping to make sure that the policy actually leads to change on the ground. We helped Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with new engineering ideas and designs for their most congested intersection downtown, which will also help to revitalize the area. We helped Baton Rouge, Louisiana with planning for walking and bicycling access and facilities along a commercial corridor that includes a challenging railroad crossing and bridge, along with additional economic revitalization and livability elements.
