The Imagining Livability Design Collection: A visual portfolio of tools and transformations (produced in partnership with AARP)
The Imagining Livability Design Collection is a Platinum Award winner in the Handbook category from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals in their annual MarCom competition. The contest received more than 6,500 entries.
MarCom’s Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition. Platinum Winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness. About 16 percent won this award.
The Imagining Livability Design Collection is a free, educational resource created by the WALC Institute and AARP. The collection is a visual portfolio that illustrates some of the most common and successful tools and treatments for creating age-friendly environments. This tool includes sets of inspirational renderings, or "photo-visions," as well as actual before-and-after images of streets and places that have become healthier, better connected, and more walkable.You will also find information on:
